Something About a Horse: Equine Eyes

  • Southern Equine Service 1258 Banks Mill Road Southeast Aiken, SC, 29803 United States (map)

Something About a Horse meeting (SAH) series:
The clinic hosts monthly sessions the last Wednesday of every month on various equine topics. These meetings usually include a short lecture followed by an interactive demonstration. These meetings are FREE to attend and you do not have to be a client. So join us at the hospital and bring your friends the last Wednesday of each month.

This month we are discussing common equine eye conditions. We’ll cover everything from chronic tearing to eye lid lacerations to degenerative eye diseases and more. If you’re a veteran horse owner, you know eye problems in horses are not uncommon and when it comes to treatment for an eye issue, the sooner the better. We’ll be sure to cover some basic trouble shooting so if your horse ever has an eye problem or injury you’ll know what to do.

Hope to see you there!
