Something About A Horse: Colic

  • SOUTHERN EQUINE SERVICE 1258 Banks Mill Road Aiken United States (map)

This month we will talk about COLIC. "Colic" is a term used to describe when a horse is having belly pain. Most horses will have some form of colic at some point in their lives. It is also one of the leading causes for death in horses. Although, you may have some experience with colic already, we will be making a point to include a lot of useful information about what to do to PREVENT colic and what to do once your horse DOES colic. We will also have a hands-on demonstration after our presentation.
