Reproduction

Southern Equine Service offers reproductive services for the stallion and the mare. The repro center is located 15 minutes from the clinic at Dr. Carter's farm and is equipped with a laboratory, stocks, a phantom, and stalls/paddocks to keep patients there. Our stallion services include training a stallion to collect, analyzing his sperm, and freezing semen. Our mare services include palpating and tracking the mares' cycle and inseminating mares with fresh, cooled or frozen semen.
